Western New York is currently under a lake snow effect warning, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). The snowfall will cause slippery road conditions, which will impact commuters on Wednesday evening.

Snow could be heading to New York and New Jersey on Thursday. Flurries will possibly start around noon mainly north and west of New York City. Snowflakes may continue falling through 7 p.m. Little to no accumulation is expected with this storm system.
