Naz Reid made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 13 seconds remaining, Jaden McDaniels scored 27 points and the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Los Angeles Clippers 109-106 on Saturday night.

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant will miss a Dec. 17 game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a left ankle sprain. Morant injured the ankle in the fourth quarter of a Dec. 15 win against the Los Angeles Clippers. He left the game with 3:44 left to play after stepping on the foot of a Clippers player and did not return.

Naz Reid hit the tiebreaking three-pointer with 13.1 seconds left after an offensive rebound as the Wolves again won after trailing most of the night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are taking on the L.A. Clippers on Thursday, in a game that both sides are short handed in this battle.

Reid had 19 points and eight rebounds in the win over the Clippers. McDaniels had 27, including 12 in the third quarter when Minnesota needed a spark. Minnesota shot 44% from distance.
