The Seahawks came into Sunday's game against the Colts with a fully healthy team, aside from the players on injured reserve, and appear to have come out of their 18-16 win without any significant new injuries.
The Seattle Seahawks avoided disaster in Week 15 by narrowly defeating Phillip Rivers and the Indianapolis Colts 18-16. The team failed to score a touchdown and relied on six field goals from Jason Myers, including a 56-yard game-winner with 22 seconds remaining. The struggling offense received little to no contributions from its rushing attack.
Here’s why the Seahawks’ hard-fought 18-16 win against the Colts in Week 15 was just the fourth such victory in franchise history.
Seahawks kicker Jason Myers was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance against the Colts in Week 15.
The Seahawks did not score a touchdown, winning solely on Myers’ leg for the first time since Dec. 26, 2024, when Seattle beat Chicago 6-3. Myers, who entered the game as the NFL’s leading scorer, raised his season total to a career-high 153 points.
Sam Darnold said “Never a doubt” after Seattle’s 18–16 win, then admitted the Seahawks’ red zone and third-down issues are “becoming a theme.”
The special teams sure get some strong grades after the record-setting kicking performance. And the defense did well too. But another slow start for the offense?
