The Golden State Warriors crossed swords against the Minnesota Timberwolves in a crunch Western Conference matchup on Wednesday.

Golden State was led by former Pacers star Buddy Hield who had 17 points. Pat Spencer scored a season high 17 as the Warriors sat six players on their second game in two nights, including All-Star Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins.

Green will sit out the second leg of Golden State's back-to-back Friday due to an issue with the left L5-s1 disc in his back. Kyle Anderson will likely receive increased playing time in his absence. Green's next chance to suit up is Monday's matchup with Toronto.
