As an Ohio native, LeBron James is a well-known Ohio State supporter. He even tweeted about possibly playing college football at one point, which was something brought up to Buckeyes coach Ryan Day when he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this week.

James, a known Ohio State supporter, has the physical frame to be a game-changing tight end on the gridiron. Even at 40, LeBron could potentially be a matchup nightmare in the college ranks. Day qualified that just because James is older than any Buckeyes player out there, that would not give him seniority on the team.

If LeBron James is willing to leave the NBA behind to play college football, he could join Ryan Day's squad at Ohio State. Back in 2022, James posted this question on social media: "Do I have college eligibility if I went to play another sport besides basketball?
